About

Who we are

A worship band and community based in Austria with Romanian roots — young, modern and centred on Jesus Christ.

Our Story

It started in a living room

Rivers of Life began with a handful of friends who wanted to worship together more than once a week. Most of us live in Austria; our families and much of our musical language come from Romania. Both belong to who we are.

What started as apartment meetings became worship nights, camps, Christmas concerts and songs written by the community that sings them. We are not a church — we are a movement of worshippers who serve their churches, their cities and the people around them.

We are young, we are still learning, and we build everything around one centre: Jesus Christ.

Community Identity

Austrian home, Romanian roots

We rehearse in Austria, sing in English and Romanian, and gather people from different churches, cities and backgrounds. Our cultural heritage shapes our sound; our home shapes our mission.

Everyone who wants to worship and serve has a place here — musicians, sound engineers, photographers, hosts, volunteers and people who simply want to sing.
